Professor Judith Hall is a Cardiff University academic and an NHS Consultant Anaesthetist. She believes in the importance of clinical innovation for patients and has worked successfully in medical device design, drug/device development and process improvement. Much of this work has been carried out in two major successful international projects: Cardiff University’s Phoenix Project in Namibia and Mothers of Africa in Zambia. Judith has brought all these activities together in The Bill Mapleson Centre, an open door for businesses into the clinical world. Her main area of research interest is Sepsis.
